V/a / Ni d'Eve, Ni d'Adam / TWI 1235 CD
V/a

A compilation CD of fresh tracks by new and heritage artists to mark 35 years of Les Disques du Crépuscule and Factory Benelux, both founded in Brussels in 1980.

Curated by Michel Duval and James Nice, Ni d’Eve, Ni d’Adam gathers together recent songs and instrumentals from Crépuscule favourites such as Antena, Paul Haig, Anna Domino, Blaine L. Reininger, The Names and 23 Skidoo, as well as more recent collaborators Marnie, Marsheaux and Ultramarine. In addition the collection features new songs by guests including Clou, Wrangler, Spleen, Pascal Comelade and Les Panties, plus an acclaimed version of Jesus' Blood Never Failed Me Yet by Gavin Bryars, performed by pianist Maxence Cyrin.

The closing track is a previously unheard instrumental performed by Vini Reilly in 1980, now dedicated to the memory of Crépuscule and Factory Benelux co-founder Annik Honoré.

Cover art by Clou. The CD is sleeved in a 6 panel matt board digipack, with notes by Michel Duval.

Deux Filles / Space & Time / TWI 1161
Deux Filles

Les Disques du Crepuscule presents Space & Time, a brand new album by Deux Filles, the reclusive arthouse duo comprising Colin Lloyd-Tucker and Simon Fisher Turner, aka Gemini Forque and Claudine Coule.

The fictive French girls released two high-regarded albums of ambience and found sound at the dawn of the 1980s, Silence & Wisdom and Double Happiness. Since then Simon Fisher Turner has become a prolific soundtrack composer (Caravagio, Blue, The Epic of Everest), as well as finding cult pop success as The King of Luxemburg. Alongside a string of eclectic solo releases, Colin Lloyd-Tucker's vocal and production credits include work with Kate Bush, The The and Sweet Dreamer.

Space & Time sees Deux Filles reunited after 33 (and a third) years of silence, recorded on a musical Grand Tour which took in France, England, Scotland, Nicaragua and Japan. Now, as then, fellow travellers include Matt Johnson (The The), Anni Hogan (Marc Almond), Paddy Bush, and The Elysian Quartet.

Available now on vinyl, CD, download and multi-format bundle. Special limited quantity with signed postcard also available while stocks last. For further details click here
